Ofitres' versatile and elegant furnishing shine in Arcos Dorados' new offices in Panama City

Several of Ofitres’ collections display their creativity and dynamism in the new Panama City offices of Arcos Dorados, the world’s largest McDonald’s franchise. A joint project by Desarrollo Bahía and the architecture and interior design studio Arte Espacio, which highlights the new trends towards human and connected work environments promoting the productivity and happiness of their occupants.

In the center of the modern and vibrant Panama City, the promoter Desarrollo Bahia and the architecture and interior design studio Arte Espacio, led by Nere Ibarreche, have developed the project for the new Arcos Dorados offices located in the new Financial Park building. A building located in Costa del Este financial center that stands out for its spectacular architecture, but also for housing modern offices equipped with the latest technologies.

One of the Arcos Dorados’ priorities for its new offices was to have a modern, dynamic, healthy and sustainable work environment, but, above all, one that would allow fluid communication between workers. With these guidelines in mind, Nere Ibarreche has developed a comprehensive proposal focused on the creation of an open and connected space, where interaction and collaboration between teams is maximized, while respecting individual needs for private spaces and moments in which concentration is sought.

The new offices reflect an innovative environment prepared for today’s new work dynamics and are defined by achieving a balance between a highly functional space and an environment fostering the well-being of workers. Arte Espacio’s project creates natural and intuitive workflows and movements, stimulating creativity and dialogue among employees, but it also reflects new trends in workspace design, as it has achieved friendly offices while maintaining a rational balance between moments of collaboration, socializing and privacy.

And it is thanks to Ofitres’ various modern furniture collections: I.Pop, Tono, Tendencies, Levels, the New Pano multimedia tables and the X folding tables that this flexible, dynamic and comfortable environment is achieved. Ofitres’ modular, ergonomic and versatile furniture solutions allow spaces to be adapted to the different needs of the day, creating environments that are suitable for the development of group or individual work. These spaces have also been designed to obtain the highest possible functionality, prioritizing comfort and ergonomics, aspects that contribute to the physical wellbeing of workers.

In a world where people’s wellbeing is increasingly relevant, the architect has integrated elements that promote both physical and mental health in the project. The spaces receive plenty of natural light, thanks to the large windows, which helps improve concentration, mood and therefore productivity, in addition to reducing stress. But also, different biophilic elements have been integrated, such as indoor plants, to emphasize the connection with nature and enhance the emotional stability of the occupants.

The interior design of the new Arcos Dorados offices combines functionality, modernity and wellbeing, and meets the current needs for dynamic and flexible work, allowing employees to work more efficiently and successfully, while the focus on health and comfort demonstrates that the company cares about the wellbeing of its employees.
