An Enveloping Space Where Design Comes to Life
The OFITRES stand at Feria Hábitat València 2025 was conceived as a sensory refuge that connects architecture, design, and emotion. Drawing on the principles of neuroarchitecture, the project explores how materials, colors, and spatial layout can directly influence visitors’ perception, comfort, and well-being.
Entirely clad in a translucent yellow envelope, the stand created its own universe. The transparency of the material filtered the light, produced soft reflections, and insulated against external noise, generating a warm and quiet atmosphere. This filtering skin not only protected the interior but also sparked curiosity and offered an immersive experience from the very first step.
Yellow, the protagonist of the space, was chosen for its ability to convey vitality, optimism, and creativity. It is an energizing hue that also evokes warmth and well-being. In this environment, yellow acted as an emotional membrane, encouraging connection and discovery.
Inside, each area was carefully designed to evoke different emotions and functions: spaces inviting focus, conversation, collaboration, or rest. The combination of colors — oranges, greens, blues, and neutral tones — together with natural vegetation, reinforced this emotional reading of the space, where home and office blended fluidly. OFITRES furniture unfolded as part of this narrative: modular sofas, biophilic workstations, storage elements, and versatile pieces that respond to new ways of inhabiting workspaces.
This stand was not merely a product exhibition, but an experience — a place where light, color, design, and comfort came together to demonstrate how workspaces can also be places to feel good.
